ACE was set up to encourage the use of Total Communication in Ireland.

Total Communication is about supporting people to understand and to be understood.

It’s about communicating in different ways for example sign, symbols, objects or photos.

We support children and adults with communication difficulties and their communication partners to create Accessible Communication Environments.

These are places where we can communicate to the best of our ability.

Information helps us to make choices, take control of our lives and be active citizens.

We support people to get information in a way they can understand.
